The Prophetic Art department, led by Rob and Susan Rodebush, combines prophetic revelation with artistic expression.

  • What is Prophetic Art?

    You were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). He is creative therefore you are creative. How did God create? God made things with His hands and spoke things into being. When you are creative, you imagine the possibility of what could be and convey it in tangible form. When you prophesy, you speak things into being: “God…calls into being things that do not exist” (Romans 4:17). Prophetic Art creatively illustrates what you sense God communicating.

  • Is Prophetic Art for you?

    As we say in the Vineyard, “Everybody gets to play!” Regardless of artistic skill level, anyone can create prophetic art. Our events give you opportunities to explore how God speaks to you and expresses Himself through you.

  • What’s the purpose of Prophetic Art?

    Friendship with God is at the heart of the prophetic. “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” (Psalm 27:8) You can grow in your relationship with God by talking and spending time with Him. God talks to you through your senses. Prophetic art becomes a tangible expression of what He is saying to you.

  • How can I grow through Prophetic Art?

    • Learn how to dialogue with God in creative ways through classes

    • Practice creating prophetic art in a healthy & encouraging community

    • Encounter God for yourself while viewing the prophetic art hallway display

 Prophetic Art Opportunities

 

Prophetic Art Open Studio

Open studio is an opportunity for individuals of any level of experience or ability to create art in a community setting. Participants will bring their own ideas and materials and join us for two hours to create prophetic art. Susan Rodebush will lead this studio time and will be available to answer questions and offer encouragement for those who desire input.  We will meet in the multi-purpose room from 10:00 am to noon. Adults and children ages 7 and up are welcome; children under 12 must be supervised by a parent.

Open Studio is a one day event that will be held four times a year.

Open Studio dates in 2024 are the following Saturdays:
- May 6th 2024
- Aug 19th 2024
- Nov 11th 2024

We will meet in the multi-purpose room from 10:00 am to noon. Registration is required.

 

Prophetic Art Hallway Display

 

The Prophetic Art Team invites you to open your heart to what Holy Spirit has to say to you as you view their artwork. It might be different from what the artist has recorded on the title card. That’s fine! He knows what you need today and may give you personal insight through thoughts, impressions or feelings.


The display is available year round and is updated several times a year. It is located in the hallway between the atrium and the church office. You are welcome to come during Sunday services or 9-5pm Tuesday through Friday for a self-directed experience.
