What does it mean to serve?

A word on serving

Don’t let the enemy convince you that you have nothing to give. We all have something to give because we are uniquely created by a talented and creative God. He has instilled in each of us a gift that brings us alive. Sign up today to serve, or explore all serving options below!

Hospitality

Hospitality is everything Sundays. From the front door to the warm cup of coffee in your hands; find out where your willingness to serve and God-given talent can help make Sudnays come alive!

  • Open the door, smile, and say hello!

  • Fuel and refresh your community with a hot cup of coffee!

  • Protect, serve and outrageously bless others.

  • Communion, offering, and helping visitors find their place.

  • Help the community answer questions and get involved!

  • Help make Sundays come alive for the live stream and recordings.

Vineyard Care

We know that life can be unpredictable, and we want to come alongside you in support through Vineyard Care. The Vineyard Care team are the members of our church dedicated to bringing God’s love and support to those who are facing challenging life events

  • sudden illness/ hospitalization/ deaths/ house fires/ accidents, etc.);

  • Reception for family and close friends and other ways to help meet bereavement needs.

  • Home/Nursing Home visits for those unable to leave their residence.

  • Meal trains and other meal support for new babies/ deaths/ hospitalizations, etc.

Youth

We believe there is a new generation of world-changers on the rise, and serving with the youth is the best way to help us in raising up world-changing kingdom leaders! Join in as a leader with NWKids and Rev 5-6 on Sundays, or with Student Revival on Wednesday Nights.

  • Where we minister to children, teaching them the heart of the kingdom and the Way of Jesus. (Newborn-5th Grade)

  • An action-packed and ministry-filled time during the second service on Sundays. (6th-8th grade)

  • Student revival is teaching students to live a different way: to go counter to all the world tells them is normal, and to minister to those around them! (7th-12th Grade)

Building

We are always looking for volunteers who are eager to help keep our house looking the best that it can. From helping our Facilities Director with projects to helping in the office, there is always something that can be done around the building.

  • Have a knack for office work? We could always use help the office, from shredding papers to answering the phones.

  • Our Facilities Director could always use help with small projects around the church (and sometimes big ones too!).

  • We love to host events, and we love to make them look good! We could use your talents for set-up, tear-down, or certain projects leading up to the events itself!
