Theology, Politics & Culture
Join us for an evening of thoughtful conversation at Theology, Politics, and Culture, where we’ll explore some of the deep questions in our culture today.
Specifically, in this lecture, we want to explore LGBTQ People and the Church, and how the 21st-century church can welcome LGBTQ people while still holding a historic sexual ethic.
Our time together will include a short lecture, open discussion, and space for questions, all designed to help us think more deeply about the intersection of faith and culture.
So, whether you’re curious, skeptical, hopeful, or simply wanting to grow in understanding, this will be a meaningful space to learn and reflect together. Registration is not required, however if you want to be included in any specific updates or lecture invites in the future, let us know you’re coming!
Neighborhood Grocery Outreach
This is more than just an outreach event—it’s an opportunity to share the love of Jesus in simple, meaningful ways. We will be setting up outside the church to bless our community with free groceries, hot coffee, and prayer. Every bag of groceries, every cup of coffee, and every prayer is a chance to remind someone that they are seen, known, and cared for by God.
We would love for you to be part of it. Whether you’re handing out groceries, offering a warm smile, praying with someone, or simply creating a welcoming presence, your participation makes a real difference.
If you plan to serve, please arrive at 8:45 AM so we can prepare together before welcoming our neighbors. Grocery donations are accepted at the Welcome Center on Sundays and the main office on Tuesday-Thursday. While it is not necessary to follow a list, if you would like some specific guidance, there is a grocery list PDF that you can use here.
We will also go out as a team on Wednesday, May 27th to offer prayer and invite people we meet to the grocery outreach!
Take a moment to fill out the interest form below to let us know you’ll be joining us. Together, we can create a space where people experience generosity, hope, and the presence of God.

Vineyard Summer Camp
If you have a kid in 2nd through 5th grade, we want them at Vineyard Summer Camp this summer.
Since 2017, over 400 kids have encountered God at camp — through worship, scripture, and real relationships with leaders who genuinely care about them. It's loud, it's fun, and it's one of the most spiritually formative things we do for kids all year.
Here's why we take it seriously: research shows kids who attend Christian summer camp are more than three times more likely to still be following Jesus five years later. One week matters more than you'd think.
Registration is open now, but it closes soon — don't sit on it. Sign up today! Learn more and register at VineyardFinneytown.org.

The group focuses on meeting the needs of bereaved persons who have suffered the death of someone close.
What to Expect
Grief turns your world upside down, making it difficult to know which way is forward and where to turn for help. It’s understandable that your thoughts are scattered, your days are disorienting, and everything around you feels off. It can help to view grief as a journey. But since this is a journey you’re never prepared for, you’ll want to know what to expect along the way—and how to handle the emotional twists and turns and daily challenges. This video series will help you to understand the common emotions people often feel in grief and share practical tips you can use to begin to find peace as you cherish your loved one's memory.
Registration will be run through Griefshare’s website. You will be contacted shortly before the start of the program.

25th Anniversary Celebration
What might it look like to slow down and simply enjoy being together as a church family? That’s what we plan to find out on our Church’s 25th Anniversary!
On May 17th, we will only have on service (9:30am), and at 11:00am, we’ll meet in the back parking lot to enjoy good food, laughter, and time together. We’ll provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and cake, and kids will have plenty of space to play. There will also be a Kona Ice truck if you’d like to grab a treat (purchase required).
Moments like these are where friendships grow, stories are shared, and our church begins to feel more and more like family. The celebration will run from 11:00 AM–1:30 PM, and we hope you’ll stick around and be part of it. It’s a simple chance to share a meal, enjoy the day, and continue building the kind of community we’re called to be.
Healing Rooms
Our goal is to align with Vineyard Northwest’s vision to be a Community of Healing by creating an environment where the Holy Spirit encounters people freely and they are able to receive healing. Prayer requests for any kind of situation are welcome because we believe that God wants to encounter us and transform every aspect of our lives.
Neighborhood Landscaping Outreach
Have you been looking for a practical way to love our neighborhood? Maybe you’ve thought, “Surely there’s something small I could do to bless the people around me and be the hands and feet of the church.”
On Saturday, May 9, we’re taking a step together with our first-ever Neighborhood Landscaping Outreach.
From 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, we’ll head out in teams to serve the immediate neighborhood around the church by offering free basic yard work—things like spreading mulch, light landscaping, and general clean-up. Our goal is simple: to bless our neighbors in a practical way and introduce ourselves as a church that cares about our community.
We’ll provide the mulch and organize teams that morning. If you plan to participate, please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. And if you have gloves, shovels, rakes, or wheelbarrows, feel free to bring them along.
One final ask: please sign up online so we can plan teams and supplies accordingly.
We’re excited to take this first step in blessing our neighbors together.

If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you. No special experience is needed—just a willingness to walk, smile, and pray with people along the way.
If you plan to participate, help us organize the outreach by emailing Dustin at Dustin@VineyardNorthwest.com.

Cindy McGill Training: Words That Work
We’re excited to host Cindy McGill Training: Words That Work—a weekend designed to equip you to share your faith in ways that are natural, effective, and deeply rooted in love.
Across the greater Cincinnati area, the Witches Market and other similar spaces continue to grow, reflecting a real spiritual hunger in our region. Many who are drawn there carry church hurt or feel they have no place in a church setting. Reaching them requires unity, compassion, and an approach marked not by fear, but by the patient, tangible love of Christ.
With more than 20 years of experience leading outreach teams to places like Burning Man, New Age festivals, and the adult entertainment industry, Cindy brings practical wisdom and proven tools. This training will help you engage people who may have little understanding of Jesus—and communicate God’s love with clarity, confidence, and grace.
Event Details:
March 27–28, 2026
Friday: 7:00–9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
The event is free, with a suggested donation of $50. Registration coming soon.
Baby Dedications
On Sunday, March 22, we’ll take time during our service to pray over and dedicate our babies and children.
In NWKids, our heart is to come alongside parents as you disciple your kids. We know we’re only a small part of the love, prayer, and intentional investment you pour into them every day—but baby and child dedication is one meaningful way we get to stand with you in that journey.
You are not doing this alone. Register with the link below.
Marriage Class
What if your marriage could be stronger? What if you and your spouse were equipped to face whatever comes your way—together? And what might our world look like if we were discipled not only to follow Jesus with all our hearts, but to love others with unfailing love that is the overflow of an unbreakable bond in the home?
We are excited to announce the start of a 6-week Marriage Class hosted here at Vineyard Northwest! This course is for married couples who want:
Grow stronger together
Navigate conflict with grace and mercy
Cultivate deeper love and connection
We believe strong marriages strengthen families, churches, and communities—and we’d love for you to be part of it. Join us Monday nights from 6:30–8:00 PM, beginning April 6. Registration for the class will be $10 a person, which covers the cost of an interactive workbook for each attendee.
Registration Coming Soon

Casting Out Demons (CSSM Elective)
There’s a problem. One of the primary expressions of Jesus’ kingdom ministry on the earth was the casting out of demons, but does the average follower of Jesus cast out demons on a regular basis? Do they even know how?
It’s time to pick back up this ancient ministry and destroy the works of the devil by freeing the sons and daughters of God from the spirits that torment them. Those who take Casting Out Demons will learn what deliverance ministry is, and will be practically equipped to do this ministry on a regular basis.
The class will run for three weeks, meeting on Wednesday Nights at Vineyard Northwest. March 11, 18, and 25. CSSM is needed as a prerequisite.
Register below. No childcare is available for CSSM Electives.
Renewal of the Mind (CSSM Elective)
Renewal of the Mind is a four-week course taught by Jon Weiner (Director of Evangelism at Vineyard Cincinnati) where we’ll explore the tools the Holy Spirit gives us to tear down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Together, we’ll practice listening to the Holy Spirit, identifying unhealthy thought patterns, strongholds, lies, and the traps of the enemy.
Topics include:
Clearing out mental and spiritual clutter
Generational thought patterns and character issues
Healing of memories
Bringing our thoughts into obedience to the mind of Christ
Cultivating healthy rhythms and developing discernment of spirit
Morning and evening practices, including the Prayer of Examen
The class will run for four weeks, meeting on Tuesday Nights at Vineyard Cincinnati in Springdale, OH. March 10, 17, 24, and 31.
